Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a good fit for this competition?

There are a lot of new initiatives popping up in the Monad ecosystem, so here’s a framework to understand the intended audience of each!

🚶‍♂️Walk: Mach Accelerator

Mach is an accelerator initiative that is for early-stage projects. These teams are often still in the ideation phase, are bootstrapped or have raised pre-seed funding, and are looking for guidance establishing an action plan to execute on. Note that this is a sector-agnostic program that has recurring application opportunities.

🏃Run: Monad Madness Pitch Competition

Monad Madness is for early-to-intermediate stage teams that have an MVP, may have raised pre-seed rounds, but are looking to raise additional funds to execute on their vision. Ideally, these teams are working on pre-production products. Last but not least, applicants should have a novel idea!

Do I have to be building on Monad already?

Nope! Your team does not have to be presently building on Monad to enter the competition.

Can you share more details about program logistics?

Selected Bangkok Teams will be notified of venue and programming details in late October.

Can you share tips for completing the application?

Be detailed and thorough... the more you can share, the better! The application form includes an option to submit a video recording of your pitch which, while not required, is strongly encouraged.

What time commitment is expected?

Monad Madness is an IRL event, with each competition spanning two consecutive days. Competition participants are expected to be present for an in-person pitch to investors and a live audience.

More details on pitch requirements will be communicated to accepted competitors.

I was not selected to compete in NYC. Can I apply for Bangkok?

Yes! Teams who were not accepted for the NYC competition are eligible to re-apply for Bangkok. This is not done automatically, so any team that wishes to re-apply should do so manually on the Bangkok application form.

I’ve submitted the application. What are next steps?

If you've submitted your application, thank you! Your application will be reviewed.

If selected as a participant, you will be notified via the specified point of contact denoted in the application form.
